The Bali Project is located approximately 250 kilometres west of Newman in Western Australia. It compromises a single granted exploration license within the Shire of Ashburton that covers an area of approximately 41 square kilometres.
The Marriotts nickel deposit is located approximately 70 km south of Leinster, and 80 km north of Leonora. Norwest holds a 100 percent interest in a single Mining Lease (M37/96), covering an area of approximately 0.16 square kilometres.
Norwest’s (80% interest) is in joint venture with Reidel Resources Limited (20% interest) at the Marymia project. The Marymia project is located approximately 200 kilometres south of Newman in the north eastern goldfields of Western Australia and comprises two granted exploration tenements covering a total area of 257.3 square kilometres.
THE NINGHAN PROJECT (100%)
Consisting of four tenements, the Ninghan project was acquired together with Norwest’s 100% purchase of the Warriedar project tenements. The Ninghan tenements are prospective for gold and base metals and are located approximately 40 kms southeast of the Warriedar package and 20 kms west of the former Gold Rush settlement of Paynes Find.
RC drilling, surface sampling and ground magnetics were completed at Norwest’s Warriedar Project. Gold mineralisation was intersected at the Mount Laws prospect from near-surface to over 150 metres deep along a strike of over 200 metres. A JORC 2012 Inferred resource was defined from the new Mount Laws RC drilling being 367,000 tonnes grading 1.6g/t gold for 18,800 ounces.
